A year ago, Green Rabbit hosted their first game event. To celebrate that occasion and have a little Halloween fun, Green Rabbit is hosting a new event this year. This event sees players forage for SOL tokens, and then use those tokens to purchase special packs. It also includes new game cosmetics for players and apartments.

Green Rabbit completed their crafting tree with the introduction of Armor Fusion not long ago. But, while the main focus now is on expanding and improving their 3D world and racing game, Green Rabbit wants to bring their Halloween event to both the 2D and 3D aspects of their game.

Halloween Foraging and Special Customizations

For the 2D portion of the game, this event offers limited time, Halloween Foraging missions. Successful completion of these missions yield SOL tokens, used to purchase the new Halloween packs. Any level Forager can embark on the lowest level mission, but venturing out into the Tier II or Tier III Halloween missions will require a Forager of level 40, and 50, respectively.

Frankenturtle

The Halloween packs can only be purchased with SOL tokens. They include Halloween Forager packs (holding one random Forager), Trick or Treat packs (containing random items), and a special, ‘One of Everything’ pack, which includes one copy of each of the Halloween Foragers.

Each of the Halloween Forager NFTs will be limited to 50 copies. Forty-seven (47) of those will be regular versions, while 3 of each will be extra special, sketch versions. These Foragers will be of Epic rarity, though the Green Rabbit team promises something different in regards to their stats. The Halloween Foragers will be able to forage at any time, not just during special events.

But fans of the 3D game won’t need to feel left out. Four Halloween skins will also be available, as well as a number of Halloween-themed apartment decorations. These will be available for Tortuga Tokens at the game market in the 3D Social Hub.

In addition, we will soon see a new player customization slot, the “Back Piece”. As you might guess, this lets players equip special cosmetic items that appear on the player’s back during the game. We don’t have any details about what sort of new cosmetic, back items we will see first, but the team promises to give a free back item to everyone who makes a purchase of Tortuga Tokens after the Halloween event starts.

The start date for this event has not yet been announced. Follow Green Rabbit on Twitter and Discord to be the first to know.

What is Green Rabbit?

Green Rabbit is a 3D racing game and social hub built on the Wax blockchain. Players wear special Anima Armor and compete in racing events known as Ultra-Anima. Equipped in special, crafted Anima-Armor, racers seek to prove their worth in this contest. Winners receive prizes which could include the game currency Shellinium, NFTs, and other game resources.

Green Rabbit features a multi-layered crafting system. Players stake NFTs to earn Shellinium (SHELL), the official Green Rabbit token. With that Shellinium and various NFTs, players craft Greenprints, and from those Greenprints, Anima-Armor. Crafting armor requires completing six components, Boots, Chest, Gloves, Pants, and Helmet.

The Green Rabbit Social Hub allows players to queue for races, purchase skins from the game market, decorate their apartments, and just hang out. The game is currently in alpha and free to play.

At long last, crafters in the Green Rabbit game will be able to complete their Greenprints. Armor Fusion allows players to craft anima armor NFTs, for trading, and for equipping in the game! Armor Fusion is the final component of the crafting system. Crafted armor provides various bonuses when racing based on the armor stats.

Turtle armor NFT

Starting on September 6th, 4pm PST, Green Rabbit armor crafters will be able to complete their Greenprints, fusing them into an armor NFT that can be equipped in-game and traded on the secondary markets. The quality of the armor is based on the lowest quality among all the components. So to get an exquisite quality armor, all six components on the armor must be exquisite level.

But Armor Fusion is not a guaranteed success. The chance for a successful armor fusion depends on the quality level of the individual armor components, and whether or not the Anima mod added to the Greensmith, matches the totem of the Armor being fused. The formula is a little too complex to easily break down. You can read the details on the Armor Fusion gitbook page.

It will be interesting to see how the market for these Armor NFTs plays out. Since players have been accumulating completed Greenprints for a while, I suspect that the initial release will see a large number of armor NFTs hitting the markets. It will also be interesting to see how much of an effect the boosted stats have on races!

Custom Skins, Apartment Customization, and Race Updates

Along with this armor update come a number of other features. Green Rabbit introduces a traveling merchant who will sell custom skins for all of their armor types. With the initial store launch, the following skins will be available:

  • Red color swap skin for all 4 totems
  • Blue color swap skin for all 4 totems
  • White color swap skin for all 4 totems
  • A two-tone skin for all 4 totems
  • An Ice Rabbit skin
  • A Lava Turtle skin
  • A Woodling Cat skin
  • A Storm Snake skin
  • A Samurai Rabbit skin ( premium)
  • A Samurai Cat skin ( premium)
  • A Ninja Snake skin (premium)
  • A Ninja Turtle skin (premium)

Sounds like a nice variety of options! Green Rabbit also plans to sell apartment decoration packs. Players will be able to customize their apartments with various accessories found in the packs. The packs come in four types, basic, lighting, furniture, and decorations. Each pack can contain a variety of items in different rarities. All in-game purchases are made with SHELL tokens.

And, with the introduction of equippable armor comes a change to the general race mechanics. There will still be free races, open to everyone. But, to enter a standard race and potentially earn rewards, players must equip a suit of Anima armor and pay a deposit of 1 million SHELL tokens. If a player fails to show up for a race they signed up for, or leaves a race early, they forfeit their deposit. Players can cancel their race reservation up to 5 minutes before the race starts and receive their deposit back. Races include from five to eight players, with the amount of rewards based on the number of racers.

In addition, this update brings an updated user interface and improved game performance.

Green Rabbit boosts their 3D Anima Races with Power-Ups and functional armor stats. Along the way, they also introduce the first iteration of Apartment customization. Though the game centers around the Anima Races, Green Rabbit is building a virtual world with a social hub, player-owned apartments, and daily missions.

Since they first added 3D racing back in April of 2022, Green Rabbit has slowly and steadily built on the foundation. They’ve added some course variation, more types of obstacles, and even special shields that require a good shoulder bash to get through. Now they brings us another update, with two new features: Power-Ups and armor stats.

Green Rabbit race entry

Power-Ups are featured in the 3D racing and come in three types. Offensive power-ups allow you to shoot a ball of energy at your opponents, shield power-ups give you brief protection, and utility power-ups give you a temporary speed boost. As with much of the game, this Power-Up feature is just a first pass. The team already has plans to gather data, add additional functionality, and improve the user interface. Press the right mouse button during the race to activate any power-up that you gather.

Secondly, armor stats now matter during races. Each armor type comes with a set of default stats, though soon players should be able to craft their own Anima Armor and wear it in-game. Speed affects sprint acceleration, strength affects how easy it is to bash through breakable objects, agility determines max stamina, resilience affects run speed through mud, and luck may save you from being shocked by a bolt of electricity during the race.

Green Rabbit also added the initial Apartment customization feature. For now, only the Genesis statues can be installed, but expect additional decoration options in the near future.

In addition to this game update, Green Rabbit began releasing a series of video clues. What do they mean? It seems to be something related to their one year anniversary. Perhaps you can discover the answer!

3D Anima Racing

Green Rabbit has been steadily adding layers to their game, with free-to-earn Orbital Drops, and player-owned Apartments. However, the main draw of the game, racing, is still lacking. And this may sound strange after spending the first half of this article talking about several recent race updates, but the racing experience still isn’t very engaging. And it’s not just me. I’ve joined the race queue several different times over the past few days. And 9 times out of 10, it was a race by myself. There were no other races going on. There was simply no interest!

Don’t get me wrong! I do appreciate the recent efforts to spice up the racing. But I was hoping for something more dynamic, with interactive scenery and multiple options for tackling various obstacles. Races where you never know who will win until the race ends. Instead, we have a static course, with way too much platform jumping involved.

Green Rabbit tech demo
Green Rabbit early tech demo

Their early tech demo looked like a lot more fun than the current in-game racing. Who doesn’t like knocking cubes around with some physics simulation? It makes the game feel like an environment rather than just static scenery. Where is this dynamic feel in the races? I want some moveable blocks in the path that turtle armor players can push through on a run but others can only move much more slowly. And as the turtles plow into the blocks they go flying off and nudge the other players they hit. Maybe getting hit while jumping stuns the player? Something more interactive is definitely needed here.

And yes, I know this is an alpha, but if racing is what this game is about, then perhaps racing should be the primary development focus.

What is Green Rabbit?

Green Rabbit is a racing game built on the Wax blockchain. Players wear special Anima Armor and compete in a grueling, obstacle course, 3D racing events known as Ultra-Anima. Equipped in crafted Anima-Armor, racers seek to prove their worth in this contest. Winners receive prizes which could include the game currency Shellinium, NFTs, and resources.

Players stake NFTs to earn Shellinium, the official Green Rabbit token. With that Shellinium and various NFTs, players craft Greenprints, and from those Greenprints, Anima-Armor. Armor comes in six components, Boots, Chest, Gloves, Pants, and Helmet. You will need all six to complete an Anima-Armor suit. After that, you can upgrade armor to obtain potential bonuses in the Ultra-Anima races.

The game is currently in alpha and free to play. Players can own Apartments, interact in the social hub, and participate in races.

Green Rabbit, a 3D blockchain racing game built on Wax blockchain has announced its latest update containing new features and functionalities. The latest update includes Race Power-Ups, the introduction of armor attributes, standard races, Tortuga Token Store, Skins, Emotes, and much more. A Tournament mode will also be introduced in the game with exciting rewards for players.

Green Rabbit Phase 1

Race Power-Ups

In response to the feedback from the Green Rabbit community, Race Power-Ups have been introduced to tackle the problem of catching up after falling behind in a race.

Race Power-Ups are in-game items that will help you to boost your speed when you fall behind in a race. The Race power-ups will be divided into 3 categories – Defensive, Offensive, and Utility, based on the power-up strengths. One power-up from each category will be released in a beta version.

Armor Stats

In the upcoming updates, players will be able to equip 3D armors in races and fuse armor components. The Armor Stats are attributes of each armor used by a player. These attributes will be displayed at the beginning of the game. The armor attributes are an important factor that decides the armor’s performance. The basic attributes are Speed, Agility, Resilience, Strength, and Luck.

Other important upcoming features in Green Rabbit

Standard Races have been introduced. In standard races players will be able to use the $SHELL token to enter a race every thirty minutes. To participate in Standard Races Anima Armor will be required. Winners of each standard race will be awarded Tortuga Tokens. To purchase and use Tortuga Tokens, a Tortuga Token Store will be introduced where players can also buy in-game items.

An Apartment Customization System and Decoration Drops have been added where players will be able to add decorations and customize their apartments. Decoration Drops will include pack sales that will be hosted in the new Tortuga Token Store.

Green Rabbit Store

Skins and Emote are exciting features that are yet to come. Players can now equip skins won or bought from Tortuga Token Store. Emotes can also be purchased from Tortuga Store besides an Emote wheel functionality whose details will be published in detail by the developers.

Apart from these, a Full Daily Missions System has been added with a variety of missions to play. A new gameplay mode called Tournament Mode will be introduced in which weekend tournaments will be hosted. Players need to pay an entry fee to participate and can win exciting prizes on winning.

What is Green Rabbit Game?

Green Rabbit is a 3D racing game with a 3D environment and social interactions where players will be able to race and compete against other players. The game contains a Hub where you start the game. You have to equip special Anima armors for your character to increase your chances of winning the race. Players can jump, run and interact with other players in the Hub so you can think of it as a social gathering point in Green Rabbit. The game revolves around a place called Nanotopia world. You can explore the world and compete in races to win prizes including $SHELL tokens, NFTs, and in-game items.

Green Rabbit Game

The game is built on the WAX blockchain and the official token of the game is $SHELL or Shellinium. Players can stake Green Rabbit NFTs to earn Shellinium and can also earn them by winning games. Shellinium can be used to craft Greenprints which can then be used to craft Anima-Armor.

After taking the top spot last week, Alien Worlds falls back to third with a drop of 42%. The winner of the week is the WAX mining simulator, Mining Network. Our team is preparing a review of the project for you, so stay tuned to learn more about it.
We can also note the return of Pegaxy in the top 10. Despite the poor performance of the project in recent weeks, the team keeps delivering new updates, moving the game towards a more strategic gameplay.
The new kid on the block this week is Gameta, a casual gaming ecosystem built on Solana. It seems like the recent Solana outage did not penalize them too much. We will follow the project closely, as casual games are a great source for onboarding new users to blockchain gamins.

The NFT market is shaking, but not collapsing as some analysts predicted. This week has seen the emergence of projects such as Goblintown and AINightBirds, that, despite having clear roadmaps and utilities are able to generate big hype and trading volume. Blue-chips projects such as BAYC, MAYC and Crypto punks floor prices are in a downtrend, but still holding pretty well compared to the overall crypto market.

We see Pegaxy falling out of this top 10, ranking now 11th. The low earnings due to the token price drops are probably the reason for this fall. Casual games like Galaxy Blocks, Jelly Squish, and now Color Craze remain popular, and this trend seems to be growing. Sunflower Land sees more than doubled its user base by allowing the minting of new farms. It is now the most played game on Polygon.

Despite a lot of FUD around its founder and how he handled previous projects, the Azuki is at the top of the charts in terms of trading volume. The sudden floor price drop seduced some investors and flippers and the collection was heavily traded.

Nevertheless, we notice a big drop in overall volume traded on the NFT market. Understandable in these uncertain times for the whole crypto ecosystem,

We have seen better weeks in the play-to-earn gaming space, and in the crypto world in general. It seems like when the crypto markets are down, the space struggles to attract new players. We do not see massive drops all across the board though, which is a good sign of player retention. Still no sign of Axie Infinity in this top and we see Pegaxy that keeps falling while casual games like Galaxy Blocks, and Jelly Squish seem to keep a steady number of players.

The Otherseed lands still tops the chart this week, but we see the rise of PXN, an anime-themed collection that gives access to a web3 community and tools. The Bored and Mutant Apes are falling a bit in terms of trading volume but floor prices remain high while the overall market is in a downtrend.

The Ethereum Name service domains have seen a spike in trading volume with the introduction of 3 and 4 characters domains and the introduction of emoticons domains.

No major change in the top 10 this week, except the appearance of Jelly Squish taking the 10th spot from Defi Kingdoms. Jelly Squish is a casual game and we can see that these attract lots of players with Galaxy Blocks still being in 4th place. Axie Infinity still did not reclaim its spot in the top 10, let’s see if it can make it back. Sunflower Land is still holding its 6th spot and might attract even more players after their token launch on May 9th.

The news and launch of the week was undeniably the land sale for the Otherside, BAYC’s upcoming metaverse project. The land sale drove up the gas fees on Ethereum to insane levels, but it didn’t stop the buyers to ape in the project regardless of transaction costs. In just two days, the collection has already reached an impressive number in terms of the trading volume. This sale also drove the floor price of many collections down. NFT collectors were looking for liquidity in order to get their hands on the most hyped metaverse project of the moment.

The Ragnarok project also saw impressive growth in its first week. Moonbirds are still here, even though if the volume traded dropped by 70% in the past 7 days.

3. Green Rabbit Hosting Free, Play and Earn Event

Green Rabbit Free to Earn Event banner

We talked not long ago about Green Rabbit’s new social hub and the first alpha release of their racing event. One of the main issues I had with the Hub is that the novelty wore off quickly and there wasn’t much incentive to hang around. Since then, the Green Rabbit team has hosted several, short-term events where random, active players in the game were rewarded with WAX prizes. But now, Green Rabbit is ready to step up their game with a new free to earn event that ties in with their upcoming Apartment sale. – Read more
