Play and earn takes a more prominent seat in the land of Eternal Dragons with the introduction of weekly leaderboards for PvE Quests, and daily leaderboards for those engaging in PvP combat!

Eternal Dragons is now running a weekly PvE quest event with rewards for the top 100 players. Each quest offers a specific arena challenge, leaving it up to the players to figure out how to progress as far as they can. The current PvE quest, Dust Storm, features increasingly strong AI teams of Tanker and Slayer enemies and runs until June 2nd. The top two players win Eternium and Descendant Egg NFTs while the rest of the top 100 earn tokens based on their final placement.

For the PvP players, Eternal Dragons introduced a new, daily PvP leaderboard. These leaderboards reward the top 10 players every day with USDC tokens. Eternal Dragons also runs longer format tournaments, having just recently completed their second round that included nearly $10,000 USDC in the prize pool!

Eternal Dragons is still in alpha (Alpha 0.2 to be exact), but it is free, open to all, and available to play via webpage or as an app on Android devices. Even though this is an uto-battler, there is quite a bit of depth to assembling your team. And since the game is free to play, this is an excellent play and earn opportunity for anyone who likes competitive strategy games!

And for the true Eternal Dragons fans, the team is hosting a convention in Hamburg, Germany on July 1st!

What is Eternal Dragons?

Eternal Dragons is an eSport, auto-battler game built on the Solana blockchain with Dragons as combat units. With numerous different classes, position-based abilities, and elemental affinities, Eternal Dragons is sure to offer plenty of room for different strategies and team builds. All units have basic stats of hit points, elemental power (magic damage), and physical power (physical damage), though Dragons tend to be stronger than their human counterparts.

In addition, units in Eternal Dragons have a number of other attributes that affect their combat abilities. First each has a default skill. This is the basic, and most often used skill for that Dragon. It can be an attack, heal, buff/debuff, or even some combination. Units also have prime stats they prefer. This will matter when players add items to units, as matching items to prime stats will provide better combat value. Dragons also have Skill Sets and Class Skills. Skill Set is a collection of abilities. Only Dragons with matching Skill Sets can use those abilities. And, as you might guess, Class Skills are specific to certain Dragon Classes.

Also, each Dragon class has certain other classes that it enjoys pairing with. These are known as “neighboring dragons”. Neighboring Dragons share Skill Sets. And they will tend to have class skills and abilities that harmonize well together. Dragons also receive bonuses from sharing affinities with teammates. Each unit has an associated affinity such as Earth, Air, or Void.

There is definitely a lot of strategic decision making involved in the game!

Currently still in alpha testing, Eternal Dragons expands their potential playerbase with a new mobile app release! With play and earn leaderboards already available in this strategic auto-battler, the new mobile version may result in a noticeable increase in the number of active players.

Web3 gaming companies continue to make moves to claim their share of the lucrative mobile market. Eternal Dragons brings us a new mobile app, available for Android devices. You can download it here. The alpha is free to play and also runs in a browser if you don’t have an Android or don’t want to install the app.

Though still in alpha testing, Eternal Dragons features both PvE and PvP game modes, with leaderboards and prizes for both. Players can win Eternium tokens and even Descendant Eggs, which hatch into Genesis Dragons!

Eternal Dragons recently added a new Psychic Affinity to their units. Stack a team with Psychics to increase your team’s spellcasting and resistance. They also have a special upcoming Guild Tournament, complete with a new selection of Player Cards.

Guild Tournament

Eternal Dragons has a special guild tournament happening this weekend (April 29th-30th). This is an invite only tournament. Eternal Dragons selected the guilds to participate, and the guilds have already chosen their champions. However, you can still have a part in the tournament by purchasing Player Cards. Player Cards are special NFTs associated with specific players and tournaments. Holders of these cards receive a percentage of the player’s earnings during that tournament!

The players choose how to distribute their Player Cards. So they can choose to monetize them, work on building a support community, or whatever structure works with their ideas and goals as a professional eSports player.

This is a very interesting way for Eternal Dragons to build themselves up as an eSport and also provide professional players with assets they can use to further their careers.

You can look for Player Cards on Magic Eden.

The first official PvP tournament for Eternal Dragons kicks off at the end of March. With a prize pool of over $15,000 USDC, this is a great play and earn opportunity for aspiring dragon tamers!

Eternal Dragons introduced PvP to their dragon-themed auto-battler recently. Now they prepare to host their first official tournament, with a large prize pool and a new feature known as Player Cards.

If you want some practice before the big tournament, the second Eternal Dragons Alpha PvP League starts tomorrow, March 20th. In addition to honing their game, the top three players earn prizes as well. Three Descendant Eggs for first place, two for second place, and one for third place.

Eternal Dragons Alpha Tournament

The first official tournament for Eternal Dragons runs from March 31st through April 2nd. This tournament offers 128 slots for players. One hundred of those can be purchased for 5 SOL tokens, with the remaining 28 reserved for partner promotions.

Tickets are expected to go on sale next week, with priority access given to those holding 35 or more Genesis Dragons, and the top 25 finishers from the first season of the Alpha PvP League. The tournament is single elimination, with best of three matches until the final, which will be the best of five matches.

The prize pool includes $15,000 plus the amount spent on tickets. The top 64 players receive prizes, with a least $3,000 going to first place! Which is a pretty nice prize!

To see the full list of tournament rules, read the official blog post.

Player Cards

Eternal Dragons also introduces Player Cards. These are given to every player who registers for an Eternal Dragons tournament. Each entrant receives 100 player cards that track that player’s stats. These cards also represent a stake in the tournament. They can be handed out to anyone. Everyone who holds a Player Card shares in whatever prizes that player wins!

This is a rather interesting and unique feature. I look forward to seeing how players make use of these cards and what sort of markets may develop around them.

As an additional bonus, holding a Player Card provides owners access to the Eternal Dragons alpha.

Eternal Dragons generated a lot of hype during their many mints over the past six months. Now we see if they can deliver on the gameplay as they release their first alpha of their dragon-based auto-battler!

Eternal Dragons held no less than ten different mints earlier this year, one for each of the Dragon classes. They also implemented Nesting, which is sort of combination of staking and engagement with social media. In return, Nesting Dragons began receiving Descendant Eggs, which will be the next generation of Dragon NFTs. There will be a more involved breeding program released later. But, for now, we have the alpha!

The first Eternal Dragons alpha opened on December 21st. This alpha is only open for holders of Genesis Dragons. Later releases will allow community members to invite other players. But, for now, it’s only for NFT holders. This alpha offers a preview of the core game mechanics and some early game content. Players will be able to choose from twenty different teams, and have options for playing in Dungeon or Hard mode.

There will also be regular PvE tournaments with prizes run during the alpha. The Eternal Dragons team teased another upcoming surprise Christmas gift, but haven’t given us any clues yet. I guess we’ll have to wait a few more days to find out!

Players can join the alpha at https://eternaldragons.com/

Eternal Dragons has been slowly going through their initial Dragon sale, putting up a new class of Dragons for sale each week. Now, they’re nearly done with the sale of Genesis Dragons. But the fun is just beginning. Players with multiple Dragons can ‘Nest’ them for rewards in the form of Descendant Egg fragments and Eternium, the game token / currency.

Eternal Dragons prepares to release their ninth batch of 1,000 Dragon NFTs on September 6th. This penultimate Genesis sale features Guardian Dragons, protectors of the flock. If you’re not already on the Priority Whitelist, you are likely too late for this round. These sales go quickly. But there may still be a chance to get in on the mint for the final batch. Keep and eye on the Eternal Dragons’ Twitter account and Discord server for potential opportunities.

But, for those who already have a stable of Dragons, or are interested in building one, then you might want to know about the Nesting system in Eternal Dragons.

Eternal Dragons Nesting

The Eternal Dragons Nesting system is a soft staking program that rewards holders with Descendant Eggs. The nesting program began on August 10th, and runs for 10 weeks, or until the initial batch of 500 eggs has been distributed. Players earn egg fragments by completing Nesting Quests. These involve holding a certain number of Dragons in your wallet. The nesting periods begin on Wednesday, and run for exactly one week. Players must hold the Dragons in their wallet for the entire week.

Eggs won’t be given out until the end of the nesting season, so the fragments accumulate. You can only receive whole eggs (ie, 1.75 fragments collected will yield 1 egg). Descendant Eggs are for generating the second generation of Eternal Dragon NFTs. However, it’s not free of cost. In addition to finding two Genesis Dragons to fertilize the egg, players will also have to spend Eternium, the primary game token for Eternal Dragons.

But never fear! Now Dragon holders can also earn Eternium tokens with their nests. Players with nesting Dragons will need to Tweet about their nest each week to earn rewards. Players should use the ‘Tweet to Nest’ button found on their gallery page before 12:59pm CEST on Tuesday to be eligible for rewards that week. Eternium rewards are based on the rarity of the Nest, and the number of retweets the player receives. Just a single retweet will double the rewards, while ten retweets will triple them!

Eternal Dragons, a fantasy game developed by Trailblazer Games, has announced the Roar game mechanics and the upcoming NFT mint. Eternal Dragons recently completed the Batch 5 priority whitelist mint and is all set to release the next Batch 6 mint on August 16, 2022.

Recently the Roar puzzle contest was held in which players had to learn how to use Roar abilities and solve Roar puzzles. On submitting correct answers, players received whitelist spots and other rewards.

Eternal Dragons Roar

What is the Roar Ability?

In the Eternal Dragons, units containing dragons and minions have different abilities. One such ability is known as Roar. Roars are area effects used to place units efficiently as a part of the player’s strategy. Each unit Roars to buff itself and other friendly units within the Roar range when a combat battle begins. A coin toss is used to decide which unit will go first out of the pair of units. This system is called unit turn order. After the turn orders have been assigned, the units Roar; players must strategically position all the units to achieve an efficient buff on other units. The Roar’s strength and functions depend on the type of Dragon. The Minions can also Roar but only have an extra range of one tile.

Eternal Dragons Roar Ability

Players have to recruit the best units by carefully analyzing the Roar attributes. The three attributes are Roar direction, Roar Range, and Roar function.

Roar Direction: The Dragons are placed on a unit grid of 8 arrows in all possible directions. These arrows will tell you in which direction the Roar can be executed. Out of them, the green arrow represents the direction in which the Roar will be executed. The portrait and its corresponding unit on the grid are shown in the image.

Eternal Dragons Roar Directions

Roar Range: The Roar range will increase the ability of the roaring unit and any units within the Roar range. It generally depends on the type of Dragon that is roaring. The range will be shown in digits inside a green box of the portrait. The Roars will impact only friendly units within the range. The Minion, Descendant, and Genesis dragons have a Roar range of one, two, and three tiles, respectively.

Roar Function: The Roar’s ability to enhance is shown in an icon on the portrait. In the image above, the Genesis Fighter Dragon Roars, and all units above it, including itself, will be buffed with the Raise Armor ability.

Eternal Dragons NFT Mint

As per the official Discord Channel of Eternal Dragons, the Batch 6 mint will start on August 16, 2022. The developers recently concluded the Batch 5 priority whitelist mint, which got released on August 9, 2022, and sold out within 24 hours.

Dragon NFTs are the hot commodity in Eternal Dragons. Though their Genesis Dragon mint consists of 10,000 NFTs, they release them in batches of 1000, one for each class in the game. As of now, five classes have been covered: Fighter, Mages, Slayer, Hunter, and Warlock. The upcoming Batch 6 mint will add another class to this list.

What is Eternal Dragons game?

Eternal Dragons is a blockchain game developed by Trailblazer Games. The multi-chapter game is based on long-lost eternal dragons and will contain four chapters, with the first two being a dragon breeding game. The other two chapters have a chess warfare mode with NFT integration and other web3 features.

Eternal Dragons run on the Solana blockchain and rewards players with Eternium – the official utility token. $Eternium can be used for entering competitions, levelling up dragons, breeding, teleportation, decorations, and many other use cases. Additionally, players can purchase Dragon NFTs from the marketplace.

The NFTs in the game is based on a set of complex algorithms that generate unique in-game abilities and looks. They can also have special attributes that cannot be inherited and will only be limited to the first generation of Dragons. The Dragons can be bred, and their offspring could generate revenue. The NFT holders will have early access to Eternal Dragons, exclusive access to discord channels, new features, and early access to NFT token presales.

Eternal Dragons had no trouble at all selling out their first three Dragon mints, Fighter, Mage and Slayer. Coming up next is the Hunter mint, starting on August 2nd. We also received a few more details about unit stats and synergies in this auto-battler, Dragon-themed game.

The Eternal Dragons NFTs are a hot commodity. Though their Genesis Dragon mint consists of 10,000 NFTs, they are releasing them in batches of 1000, one for each class in the game. The first three sales, for Fighters, Mages, and Slayers, sold out quickly, never even making it past the whitelist stage. And with the Hunter mint, coming this Tuesday, you can probably expect a similar result.

Genesis Hunter Mint

But there is still a chance to get on the whitelist for minting an Eternal Dragons Genesis Hunter! Players who buy two Genesis Dragons from the Magic Eden marketplace before the evening of August 1st, will receive priority whitelist spots for the Hunter mint, coming on August 2nd. Pre-owned Dragons don’t count. The purchase must have been made this weekend (July 30th – August 1st).

Eternal Dragons shared affinities
match Dragon affinities for bonuses

Minting costs 2 SOL (Solana tokens) for one Dragon. Only 1000 NFTs are available for this mint. Whitelist minting begins at 16:00 CET on August 2nd (priority whitelist gets access five minutes early), with the public mint starting six hours later. Each minted Dragon begins as an egg, which hatches 48 hours later. All NFTs sold during these initial sales are considered Genesis Dragons. Genesis Dragons will be used to breed other Dragons, and they are more powerful than any of their offspring.

Not only are these NFTs playable in-game, but they are also generative, providing different looks for each one. The PFP graphics for the Dragons look nice. Hopefully these visual differences will translate into game graphics at some point.

If you don’t make the whitelist for the Hunter mint and are interested in future mints, then you probably want to watch their Twitter feed and join their Discord server to participate in future whitelisting events.

What is Eternal Dragons

Eternal Dragons is an auto-battler game built on the Solana blockchain. Combat units are Dragons. And with eight different classes, position-based abilities, and elemental affinities, Eternal Dragon is sure to offer plenty of room for different strategies and team builds. Dragons have basic stats of hit points, elemental power (magic damage), and physical power (physical damage).

Eternal Dragons class jewel
class skill sets and ‘neighbors’

We were given a preview of the Skills planned for the Hunter class. We have Pack Attack, which has a chance to cause adjacent, friendly units to use their default attack skill on the same target. Pack Empathy, which spreads damage this unit takes to adjacent units. Target Manipulation, which allows the Hunter to change opponent’s unit targets (I think). And finally, Dual Nature, which causes Hunters to do more damage to units suffering from Damage over Time (DoT) effects.

Each class has certain other classes that it enjoys pairing with. These are known as “neighboring dragons”. Neighboring Dragons share Skill Sets. And they will tend to have class skills and abilities that harmonize well together. Dragons also receive bonuses from sharing affinities with teammates. Each NFT has an associated affinity such as Earth, Air, or Void.

Eternal Dragons is currently almost halfway through their planned Genesis NFT sales, with an alpha expected to launch later this year. The team teased staking rewards for owning Dragons in the near future.

The minting for Genesis NFTs of Eternal Dragons kicked off on July 12th, 2022, and will be an ongoing process, with new NFTs released in batches of 1000. These generative NFTs are the main characters in this upcoming, auto-battler game on the Solana blockchain. Dragon NFTs come in nine different classes, with two released so far — the Fighters and the Mages.

The Genesis Eternal Dragons are a 10k, generative collection of NFTs. As has become the standard for these sorts of game NFTs, the Dragons come with a number of random attributes, some of which are visual only, others that will affect that NFT’s gameplay.

But Eternal Dragons do have something a little different, specific Classes. There are nine in all, with the first two Fighter and Mage, already sold out. Each mint event for Eternal Dragons will release another 1,000 NFTs, with its own Class (with the final 1,000 reserved for a special drop!). The most recent mint for Mage characters sold out in 90 seconds! So if you’re interested in future mints, you might want to join their Discord and follow them on Twitter for chances to get a spot. The mint for the next class happens on July 26th!

Minters receive a Dragon Egg, which hatches 72 hours later, revealing the details of the Eternal Dragon. Dragons come with three primary rarity scores based on their attributes – visual rarity, in-game utility or power, and gene pool value. All three join to form a Total Rarity Score, but for some players, one particular category may be more important to them than the overall score.

Like many initial mints for blockchain games, these Genesis Dragons come with many benefits. These benefits include early game access, NFT airdrops, token airdrops, exclusive event invites, unique DNA and abilities, enhanced breeding options, and passive income from their offspring!

What is Eternal Dragons?

Eternal Dragons is a new game in development on the Solana blockchain. At the heart of it all is an auto-battler game featuring Dragons as the key characters. Players assemble teams, send them into battle, and watch the results.

The main Dragon characters for the game exist as NFTs. The Genesis Mint for Eternal Dragons features a collection of 10,000, unique Dragons. And though the Dragons are generative NFTs, the team is releasing them in batches of 1000, each for a specific class.

When minted, Dragons are first created as an egg which becomes available for hatching after 72 hours. For those who missed the mint, both hatched Dragons and unhatched eggs are available on the Magic Eden marketplace. So far, two Genesis mints are completed, with eight more scheduled for the near future.

The team plans to handle development in a series of stages. The first stage, called Genesis, focuses on the minting of this first generation of NFTs, and the establishment of the breeding system. The second stage, known as Strife, brings the first battle gameplay to the players. Future stages promise land ownership, crafting, tournaments, guild battles, DAO governance, and Dragon armies marching across a world map!

Eternal Dragons has one token, Eternium, or EDQ. This token functions as in-game currency, a governance token, and provides holders a share in the earnings from the game. That’s quite a lot of utility! In-game uses include breeding, leveling up, healing, and tournament entry fees. The game will also feature an in-game only currency called Dragon Feed.

Eternal Dragons plans to open the first early access to their game in fall of 2022.
