What is the TOWER CDH Web Store?

The TOWER Token Web Store a.k.a TOWER CDH Web Store is a platform developed by Crazy Defense Heroes that will allow players to use TOWER tokens and buy in-game items with exciting offers. On purchasing in-game items from the Web Store, players will receive TOWER Hero Points that can be accumulated to upgrade the TOWER League Level. This level will be displayed on the website in future updates.

On the TOWER CDH Web Store, you have to log in using your Crazy Defense Heroes User ID. After logging in, connect your wallet using the Select Network option. There are three networks available Etherium, BSC, and Polygon. Connecting the wallet will display the products under categories such as Gems, Daily Gems, and Starter Packs. In addition, the product name, description, discount, VIP points, and price are mentioned for each product.

Click on the price button to purchase an item and confirm your transaction. In addition, the “Get Tower” option can be used to exchange MATIC tokens for TOWER tokens.

Players will be entitled to rewards of each tier only once per month in this event. Also, you must fulfill all the conditions listed in the reward tiers. The Tower Battle Card status in your account will be automatically scanned between the 1st and 10th of every month. Players must keep the cards in their wallets during this period failing which the event conditions will not be fulfilled.

The rewards have been divided into four tiers – Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. To qualify for the Common tier, players must hold 1 NFT with any rarity and Daily Star Chest check-in for 7 days. How to buy a Tower Battle Card?

Players will not be able to participate in this event if they don’t have Tower Battle Card NFTs that come with a floor price of 0.01 ETH. To buy this card, head over to the OpenSea marketplace. The TOWER battle cards will allow you to earn extra $TOWER rewards besides XP gain and daily chest events. A tower battle card NFT can be used only once for redeeming the prizes of a tier for a specific month. If a player owns 1 Epic and 2 common NFTs, then the Epic card will be used to redeem Rare Tier prizes. But, the same card cannot be used to fulfill the rarity requirement of other tiers.

What is the $TOWER Token?

The Sandbox game jam events are game creation contests held by Sandbox for game designers, both experienced and beginners, who can win prizes by making entries using the Sandbox Game Maker software. This time participants have to create a tower defense game using the Game Maker software. In addition, you can create or import your assets from the sandbox asset library. The game must be based on the topic that is Tower defense game, and for inspiration, you can play the Crazy Defense Heroes game. It is a play-to-earn tower defense game developed by Animoca Brands.

The game should also have some playable features, such as quests and missions, increasing the chance of winning the event. The game length should be at least 5 minutes and contain 25 different assets. Participants can submit entries individually or in a team of maximum 4 members. The Sandbox staff and TOWER staff will judge the entries, and the result will be announced on September 11, 2022

The Crazos will be a PFP / avatar / founder’s NFT type thing for Animoca Brands. Offering special items and early access, the Crazos might be a high demand item. Each mint pass allows 1 minting.

In the past 30 days, four games took the lead in terms of new users acquired: Sunflower Land (38.43%), Crazy Defense Heroes (30.42%), Pegaxy (16.31%), and Arc8 (11.37%). These four titles make up 95.63% of the new users on Polygon-based games.

Falling short of 22k daily active users, Sunflower Land is by far the most played games of the chunk. Arc8 has a total of 17k daily players, but is not acquiring new ones fast enough. CDH is a long-lasting Animoca success with 9k daily users, similar to Pegaxy. 

1. Sunflower Land

Sunflower Land is a Play to Own farming simulator, where players gain perks and benefits by watering plants, growing crops, feeding animals, and overall running a proficient farm. The game is part of a new trend shifting away from the term “Play to Earn” for “Play and Earn” and/or “Play to Own”.

The tokenomics features $SFL, currently valued at $0.16, down 15% in the last 24 hours. The token is in a freefall after the recent crypto crash of May 2022.

According to DappRadar, Sunflower Land totalled $160k+ in transactions in the past 30 days, coming from 784k transactions overall, estimating the average value per transaction a little over $0.20. We recently analysed why Sunflower Land is the biggest hit on Polygon here.

2. Crazy Defense Heroes

Crazy Defense Heroes is an RPG-style tower defense game based on collectible cards, chests, and rewards.

Players have to defend the towers, take part in weekly challenges, defeat bosses, and create clans. There are over 400 Towers, spells, and collectible cards with 1000 levels to conquer. 

The game is one of the fastest-growing recently thanks to their Tower Map NFT Rewards. According to Footprint Analytics, the total number of gamers as of the 25th of May is 542,169. The acquisition cohort chart shows a 45% retention in the latest quarter, not an amazing result.

Crazy Defense Heroes features the $TOWER token, currently valued at $0.005, down 8.15% in the last 24 hours and in a downfall trend since the beginning of the year. 

CDH is not doing well financially, but it keeps being one of the most downloaded apps and has the full backing of Animoca Brands, which recently became a unicorn.

3. Pegaxy

Pegaxy is a PvP horse racing simulator which offers several horse races, each with 12 horses running, with the top 3 horses receiving prizes in the game reward token $VIS. 

The horse races are mostly decided on luck, but some other factors such as the horse’s gene and rarity play a role in the calculation. 

The tokenomics features $VIS, to balance the minting cost, breed horses, and manage in-game rewards, and $PGX, the governance token, also used for breeding, and to get involved in the proposal engine.

$PGX is currently valued at $0.03, up 0.48% in the past 24 hours, and $VIS sits at $0.0003, down 1.24% in the same timeframe.

Pegaxy has the highest retention rate of all games on Polygon. According to Footprint, the peak was 77% of new players retained in Q1 2022. 

To keep players’ engagement high, Pegaxy released an annual event: The Big Sprint Championship.

The cup is held once a year, with the first 11 months being the qualifying month. The top 12 players in each of the five levels (renting, marketplace, racing, breeding, and connect) are selected each month, drawing a pool of 660 players per year into the global finals. 

The winner of the final round is rewarded with a large amount of $PGX Token distributed by the Ecosystem Fund.

4. Arc8

Launched in October 2021, Arc8 is GAMEE’s collection of mobile games on the Polygon chain. The platform is host to over 10 minigames, ranging from puzzle games to action movies, and is fairly popular amongst casual gamers on mobile devices.

On each given day, the platform releases daily tournaments for players to get involved in. Some are free, requiring only the in-game points, some require a participation fee, paid out in $GMEE.

During the gameplay, players might win $GMEE for completing quests for free, or may gamble in the daily tournaments to receive a higher amount.

$GMEE is the governance token, and is currently valued at $0.018, down 4.27% in the past 24 hours. The token is on a downfall trend after the game failed to maintain a fast-paced growth, with daily active users decreasing rapidly. 

According to Footprint, less than 18% of new users stick around. It’s worth noticing that, given the nature of a platform hosting tons of minigames, they are the games with the most trades! 

DappRadar reports 1.98M transactions in the past 30 days, down only 0.81% from last month. Arc8 is working hard to keep the number high and attract new players with great incentives through their referral program.

Now that the Play to Earn model is popular enough to attract giants like Netmarble to consider it (have you seen Ni no KuNi?)analytical platforms are popping out and will help you analyze current trends. TOWER Tokens reward pools for March and April

The reward pools for March and April are divided into three categories:

• Tier 1: You must gain a minimum of 315,000 XP in a month to start earning Tower Tokens to be eligible to earn from the Tier 1 Reward pool.
• Tier 2: You must gain a minimum of 450,000 XP in a month to start earning Tower Tokens. You can gain a share of both Tier 1 and Tier 2 rewards.
• Tier 3: You must gain a minimum of 600,000 XP to earn TOWER tokens from all the 3 Tiers.

An important point to note is that players must gain a minimum of 315,000 avatar XP within each month to be eligible to earn TOWER tokens. For example, if your current XP is 200,000, you will need 200,000 + 315,000 = 515,000 XP to earn from March’s Tier 1 Reward pool. You can earn TOWER tokens from both XP Gain and Daily Star Chest events.

Crazy Defense Heroes Tower Map NFT

Tower Map is an NFTs will let you unlock different levels of exclusive Game Maps and will boost your in-game rewards. All Tower Map NFTs are ERC-1155 tokens on the Polygon network and will be tradable on OpenSea. More information about the utility of these NFTs will be published in the future.

The Tower Map NFTs come in 4 different levels of rarity: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary.

Daily Star Chest Rewards

The daily Star Chest event will continue in March and in addition to TOWER tokens, you will now be able to earn TOWER Maps NFTs by opening a Star Chest in the mobile game and checking in on the Tower token website.

The total number of TOWER tokens and Tower Map NFTs you collect will depend on how many days you have completed check-ins on the website and how many days you have opened a Star Chest in Crazy Defense Heroes. You can earn a total of 28 TOWER tokens and a Common Map NFT if you open a Star Chest and complete at least one check-in on any seven days in March 2022.

You do not need to check-in continuously for seven days; instead, you can check in on any day, but the total check-ins should be 7. In the best case, you can collect a total of 406 TOWER tokens and 4 TOWER Map NFTs in March 2022.

The Crazy Defense Heroes server time is set in UTC. The Star Chest cooldown period lasts for 16 hours. You can only check-in once, but you can open 2 Star Chests within the same day.

For quite some time, Animoca brands has allowed players of Crazy Defense Heroes to earn TOWER tokens by accomplishing milestones and competing in play–to-earn events. As their new tower defense game creeps ever closer to launch, players have a chance to get in ahead of the action by purchasing Tower Tickets and Mystery Boxes during this special sale on Binance.

Tickets are basically an NFT pack, holding NFTs for two different games. Crazy Defense Heroes rewards from the tickets include starter kits, high-level avatar packs, daily gems, and VIP points.

The campaign offers 4 reward tiers, but only the 4th tier includes the token prizes:

In August players needed to earn 250,000 XP, and with it came a reward pool of 750,000 TOWER tokens. When they announced those August rewards, the token was $0.015. Now TOWER has a $0.055 valuation. This means that the reward pool for September and October is more than $55,000 per month.

However, from my own Crazy Defense Heroes experience I can say it’s already quite the challenge to reach 250,000 XP. This would make 275,000 even a bigger challenge. However, this would also mean that less players succeed and therefore the rewards are greater. We’ll see.

Crazy Defense Heroes is a mobile tower defense game. You need to build towers to stop a horde of enemies. Players earn resources that they can use to upgrade their towers. Some towers work better or worse against specific enemies. For the play-to-earn mechanics of the game, the XP earnings are measured through snapshots at the beginning and end of the month. So it doesn’t matter if you’re level 20 or level 1, you will just need to earn 275,000 XP.

Gamers who have been playing Crazy Defense Heroes for a couple of months will probably know about the promise to add play-to-earn mechanics to the game. Players who earn enough experience points during a month will share in a prize pool of TOWER tokens. In June this prize pool was $17,000 worth of TOWER tokens.

However, so far there was no way to claim these rewards. As a result, the entire system remained a bit vague. The ability to link the mobile game account to an Ethereum crypto wallet shows there’s progress. Users who link their account before August 4th, will be able to see how much TOWER tokens they’ve earned so far.

If you do not link your MetaMask to your Crazy Defense Heroes User ID before 8 a.m. (UTC) on 4 August 2021, you forfeit your right to claim rewards for February, March, April, and June. Forfeited TOWER tokens will be shared among eligible players who have completed the linking process.

More TOWER earning event in July and August

It’s a bit short notice, but gamers who are playing Crazy Defense Heroes this month can also earn TOWER tokens. Everybody who gathers more than 250,000 XP, will be eligible for the rewards. In both July and August players will share 750,000 TOWER tokens in rewards. That’s $13,600 per month at the current rate of $0,018 per TOWER token.
