The beta for Rogue Nation is already available for anyone owning an Elemint NFT. Elemints are a limited NFT collection that was released for free earlier this year. Elemints are companions in Rogue Nation. These unique, in-game pets provide access to the first-playable release and boosts to attack damage. You can pick one up on Magic Eden or Open Sea for under 10 MATIC.

Those with Elemint NFTs can download the game, connect their wallet and start playing the beta now. The game is only available for Android devices at the moment, though an iOS version is coming soon. The team also plans to release a PC version further down the road.

Battle Royale with Narena Games

Rogue Nation has also announced a partnership with Narena Games, a platform that works on helping to gamify NFT collections. For holders of Elemint NFTs, there will be a special battle royale arena that opens on July 4th.

Players interested in this special beta can visit the Rogue Nation dashboard to register. Only those who register will be able to participate. This event will include rewards, with the first round offering up an NFT from We All Survived Death, a 10k generative NFT collection.

The Rogue Nation team will hold a Town Hall meeting on their Discord server on July 3rd. Hopefully we’ll get some more details during that event.

What is Rogue Nation?

Rogue Nation is a free to play, top-down, rogue-lite, action RPG. Players venture into procedurally generated dungeons in a top-down isometric game world, with the goal of defeating the big boss at the end. Completing a run provides loot crates with rewards that players can use to upgrade and customize their characters. Players can take on the dungeons solo, or with a group of friends. The game will also additional modes such as PvP, raids, survival, and even player created dungeons.

In Rogue Nation, players can customize their characters, as well as the items they carry. Customization comes in the form of ability selection, weapon attachments, and pets. As characters and weapons are used in-game, they develop certain bonuses or perks based on their history in-game. This system is designed to not only provide additional customization options, but to make also make every item and character truly unique and part of the game world.

You can already pick up a Boss Fighters Rowdy NFT and use it as your character skin in-game, but the team is ready to kick things up a notch with their unique, generative collection of Alpha Fighter NFTs!

There are actually three kinds of Alpha NFTs — Fighter, Weapon, and Boss Skins. They all come in four rarities, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. Rarity has no gameplay effect. But for character skins, rarity does affect what selection of traits are used for generating the skin. That’s right, the Boss Fighters Alpha Fighter Skins will be generative, unique NFTs! Weapon and Boss Skins aren’t as exclusive, though they still have many different varieties and rarities available.

Boss Fighters Alpha Pass

But these Alpha Skins aren’t just for sale straight up. Players need to first purchase an Alpha Pass, and then earn their Skins by playing the game! Alpha Passes will go up for sale sometime soon through the Open Loot platform. Interested players will need to sign up for the waitlist using this form. Alpha Passes cost $15 for a rare, $60 for an epic, and $100 for a legendary, with varying chances of finding different rarities of Fighter skins. This is the only time these alpha skins will be made available.

There is also a free pass option, though it doesn’t include a Fighter skin as a reward. Those who want a free pass will still need to go through a whitelisting process and enter a Gleam campaign to try and win a slot. Watch the Boss Fighters social channels for more info on the free pass.

All of the passes also include access to the Closed Alpha and chances to earn Weapon Skins.

VR players receive their own special pass, the Alpha Boss Pass! These free passes reward owners with a Closed Alpha Key and two exclusive Boss skins.The Boss Fighters team will provide a form where players can submit their email address, and then follow a set of instructions to verify that they are a VR player.

These Passes open up the potential to unlock and mint the Fighter NFTs. Alpha Passes function as a battle passes, with rewards and perks unlocking as the player progresses.Once an item is unlocked, it immediately appears as a tradable NFT — no other work required!

An event known as ‘Big Playtime’ is scheduled to start on August 5th. At that point players can unpack their Pass and begin working on the unlocks!

What is Boss Fighters?

Boss Fighters is an asynchronous, arena combat game that pits a team of players against one other player as The Boss – a giant enemy that can smash apart buildings, shoot lasers, and even rip the giant hot dog off from the top of the restaurant and hurl it at the puny humans! The Fighter players have guns, rockets, grappling hooks, sticky bombs, and other weapon and gear options for helping them try to defeat the Boss.

Boss Fighters will be free to play. And those who have no interest in blockchain or NFTs can still play and earn in-game rewards. Boss Fighters will include digital assets and NFTs, but they will be cosmetic only and not affect gameplay. The game will run in seasons. During each season, players gain experience as they play, opening up new gear, cosmetics, and upgrades. All of these rewards are wiped between seasons, but players will have the option of spending game currency to mint certain items into an NFT. As the Boss players are the heart of the game, they will see increased rewards for participation in the game. This includes bonuses for playing on a regular basis.

The first character skin NFTs, known as the Rowdy collection, are available on the Solana network. However, the team recently announced a new partnership with Open Loot, and the NFTs will be transferred over to that platform in the near future.

Boss Fighters wants to bring a game show feel to the experience and encourages streaming. They want it to be a fun, eSport event for players and viewers. And so, the Boss Fighters team is already envisioning ways to encourage and reward viewers and audience participation.

Boss Fighters will also include player created content in the future such as customized maps. Hopefully that will expand to include Boss creation as well!

Getting access to Phase of Beta 2 for Phantom Galaxies requires owning one of several NFTs. Anyone who holds a ‘Planet Genesis Mintpass’, a ‘The Hopeful’ NFT, or a ‘Zorran’s Favour’ NFT should now have access to the beta. Players can download the game and retrieve their beta codes on the Phantom Galaxies website.

Unlike the alpha, this testing phase doesn’t include any promised rewards. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if the team hands out a badge or some other sort of proof of participation item. But even without rewards, the game is actually fun to play!

What’s New in Beta 2?

This beta brings a number of new features to this space-based, mech-combat, starship-piloting, RPG. Starfighters have seen an overhaul across the board with new abilities and updated visuals. We also have a new game system around Heat management when piloting a starship. As players maneuver and fight, their ship begins to heat up. Overheat, and the ship is destroyed. Players will need to keep an eye on their Heat levels during combat missions and know when to back off and cool down before re-engaging!

This beta phase starts everyone fresh from the beginning again. And though there are some changes, it’s a familiar experience for anyone who played in the alpha test. For those new to Phantom Galaxies, the game is very user friendly. The story-based plotline walks you through learning different parts of the game through a series of quests as it builds up the danger and adds more options for the players.

And for those are looking for a social scene, it is now possible to meet up with other players on Halberd-001, the starting space station. The first multiplayer hub in the game has already seen some activity. Hopefully this feature will continue to grow into an active hangout scene for the Phantom Galaxies playerbase.

What is Phantom Galaxies?

Phantom Galaxies is story-based, FPS, RPG set in a future of space travel and planet colonization. Players follow the storyline quests, fight pirates, and upgrade their character and starships along the way. The game features high-quality graphics and features starship piloting and fighting, as well as walkable, 3D space stations where most of the NPC interactions occur.

Players will own their own Starfighters in the form on NFTs. Other equipment and fusion NFTs will be used to upgrade the fighters.

Synergy Land opens a public playtest, available to everyone, with some prizes for those who complete the most quests! The playtest started earlier today (June 16th) and runs until June 19th, 10 am UTC.

Special prizes go out to the top 10 players. A rare Loot Box for places six through ten, an Epic Loot Box plus 50 SNG tokens for fourth and fifth place, a Legendary Loot Box and 100 SNG tokens for second and third, and a Unique Loot Box plus 300 SNG tokens for the player who can complete the most quests during the weekend. And for those who can’t make it into the top 10 list, an additional 30 Common Loot Chests will be raffled off to random players. Emails will be sent out to the winners on June 21st.

The game is free to play and available from the website, or via the Elixir Games app. Synergy Land features a series of tutorial quests to help introduce players to the game.

What is Synergy Land?

Synergy Land sees players starting out as owners of their own private, floating island where a helpful merchant is ready to guide them through rebuilding the place and turning it into a thriving community. Players farm crops, place buildings, craft, feed their works, and all of that sort of town-building stuff. Synergy Land includes a wide variety of crops and craftable items. The interactions between the various crafting stations and farming grow increasingly complex as you move up the ladder of item crafting. Luckily, the game provides a continuous stream of quests to introduce new buildings and features.

But all of this is just a springboard for the real adventure, Diablo-style dungeon explorations! Complete with skill trees, equipment, bosses, and everything else you would expect. It does take a while to get there though, as players must slog through rebuilding their town first.

One interesting twist with the game is that Synergy Land plans to sell Boss NFTs. Players who own Boss NFTs can upgrade them and receive a payout every time their Boss defeats player characters! Synergy Land will also include Pets, a PvP arena, an in-game, player marketplace, and more!

Synergians are sort of the Genesis NFT for Synergy Land. They act as playable characters, provide ongoing benefits and game acces,s and can be found on a number of third party marketplaces including Magic Eden.

Blast Royale introduces a three week, ‘Multi-Blast’ event, offering players numerous rewards for placing in the top leaderboard positions, and for simply playing the game! This event started on June 8th and runs through June 30th.

The Multi-Blast event features two leaderboards, and two additional prizes to everyone who meets certain gameplay goals. First up we have the standard leaderboard with players ranked based on the number of trophies they have earned. Anyone in the top 100 spots by the end of the event earns 1000 Coins. In addition, first place, and everyone who finishes in a multiple of 10 spot (ie, 10th, 20th, 30th, etc — up through 100), earns CS tokens based on their rank.

On top of that, everyone who wins 100 ranked games earns 50 BLST tokens, and everyone who gets at least 500 total kills will receive one, random piece of in-game Equipment.

Blast Royale utilizes a three token system. Coins are an in-game only currency and are used to upgrade and repair non-NFT equipment. BLST, or Blast Token, is an ERC-20 token used for purchases, upgrades, repairs, and crafting. There may also be a staking system for BLST tokens in the future.

CS tokens (Craft Spice) is the secondary token for the game and is only created via the in-game systems. Players use CS tokens for repair, crafting, and upgrades. Players earn CS tokens when playing from their own personal token pool. When the pool runs dry, players can keep playing, but they won’t earn tokens until the pool replenishes. The more trophies and NFTs that a player has, the larger their token pool. Rarer NFTs also count more than common ones.

It seems that the utility for CS tokens overlaps completely with BLST, which makes the economics of the game system more complex than it needs to be. But I’m sure there are some tokenomics decisions behind this token system design.

Blast Royale is free to download and play, and available on both Android and iOS devices.

What is Blast Royale?

Blast Royale is a free to play, mobile, battle royale style game with an integrated web3 market and plans for character customizations via NFTs. Players choose three items to equip, then jump into a hot zone where they try to stay alive, gather supplies, and defeat the opposing players! Blast Royale is a top-down shooter, with various special abilities provided by equipped items.

To keep matches interesting, rounds will sometimes have Mutators, or special rules that change the gameplay for that session. For example, a Mutator could provide everyone with extra speed or healing abilities.

Blast Royale will offer play and own features through a battle pass, crafting and event system. But to earn by playing Battle Royale, players will need to be competitive on leaderboards and in tournaments.

Players can already download and play Blast Royale now. The team plans to continue to build out the NFT integration, and eventually incorporate a player-run DAO system as well.

Bushi plans to launch their open alpha and the Battlepass mint on the same day. And with so many moving parts, they have decided to delay that date — twice. Current ETA is June 14th, 2023.

Bushi will be free to play for this alpha. Though once the game is officially launched, the team plans to require a Battlepass in order to play. But there are plenty of other reasons to be interested in the Bushi Battlepass.

This Battlepass includes 70 levels, 20+ in-game items (including characters, weapons, and visual effects), currency rewards, a guaranteed airdrop, and a special Season 1 Discord Role that promises special perks like guaranteed whitelists, other airdrops, access to a special alpha, and a ‘sick collectible image!’

Battlepasses come in rarities, with rarer Passes receiving a more exclusive, game-item airdrop.

Owning a Battlepass allows players to collect CORES, which will be used to purchase NFTs later on. The Bushi team also hints that these Battlepasses will play a role in their token release.

This Battle Pass collection is limited to 5,000 mints and each mint costs 25 SUI tokens. Same price for everyone whether they get their Pass from the whitelist ot he public sale. And while it’s likely too late to find a whitelist spot, you can still lurk around for the public mint. There are only 1,000 whitelist spots avilable, but each one can mint up to five Pases. It’s unlikely that everyone on the whitelist will do that, so there should be an opportunity to pick up a Pass during the public portion of the sale.

But, you will need to make sure that you are setup with the right kind of wallet and some SUI tokens as well.

Getting Setup for the Bushi Mint

In order to participate in this mint for the Bushi Battle Pass, you will need a compatible wallet and some SUI tokens.

The first thing you’ll need is a wallet that can support the Sui token. Some popular wallet options include Ethos Wallet, Martian Wallet, Ledger, and the SUI Wallet extension. Then you will need 25 SUI tokens per mint (plus a little extra for gas fees). The SUI tokens are available through most major exchanges.

Non-U.S. Residents may even be able to purchase the token directly through the wallets mentioned above.

The Battlepass mint will be through Clutchy, an NFT marketplace on the SUI network.

What is Bushi?

Bushi is a competitive, third-person, shooter-style game with samurai-inspired combat and ninja-like parkour. Players compete as teams or individuals across various arenas and game modes.

This is official release 2.1 of the Star Atlas showroom. And this update is a big one, with something for every type of player!

The Star Atlas Showroom is a downloadable app (available only for Windows machines at the moment). You can download it at https://play.staratlas.com/. To access the Showroom, you will need a game key, which you can acquire in two ways. You can either stake one or more ships in the SCORE Program for a week or stake tokens to spawn a ship in Escape Velocity, the web-based resource hunting, mini-game. You can redeem the code at https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/redeem

And you don’t need to own a Star Atlas ship to try these features out. The game provides two, free ships to play with, which rotate every three days. These include ships from across the spectrum, even large vessels.

Whats New in Showroom 2.1?

The biggest feature of this update is probably the Volant Station Racing Track. This track allows players to test drive 49 different ships and engage in competitions for the fastest times around the track! To help players familiarize themselves with all aspects of driving in Star Atlas, this race also includes weapons and items that can be found during the race. The ships handle differently based on their ship type and stats. So test driving them all to find the perfect fit for you might be in order!

Future updates will bring additional racing competitions.

The Galactic Marketplace has now been integrated into the Showroom. Players can purchase ships directly from within the app and immediately access them in-game!

And for those who are more interested in hanging around the station, jetpacks are now available to all players, making traversing the area a cinematic breeze! And supposedly, there are even some secret spots around the expanded station. Players can take screenshots of what they find, which will feed into upcoming photography contests! Each contest will have specific rules, so you’ll have to wait until they are announced for details. But we do know that the winners of these competitions will have their photographic artwork minted as NFTs, which the winner can choose to sell or give away! That’s kind of cool and a great way to engage the community!

The combat arena has also received an update. Players can now summon ships up to large size and try to fend off up to twelve waves of NPC enemies. The Star Atlas team has revised the arena itself to make the challenge more interesting and dynamic.

And finally, we have new ‘Experimental Modes’ available. The details of these are left for the players to discover. But the team says that these experiences are designed to provide sneak peeks into the future of Star Atlas!

What is Star Atlas?

The year is 2620. Three factions, MUD, ONI, and USTUR, exist in an uneasy truce across the galaxy. Players explore unknown systems, delve into rocks and earth to acquire resources to build, expand, and conquer! Will you be a fighter, testing your mettle in the arena games? Or an explorer in the depths of space, far beyond the reach of any help? Perhaps a shipwright, creating objects of beauty and technological prowess? Maybe you have bolder ambitions, ones of control and rulership? Well all of these roles and more are open to you in Star Atlas, the space MMO currently in development on the Solana blockchain.

Star Atlas aims to build a galactic, space opera MMO where players control the markets and dictate the ebb and flow of goods and products. The rise or fall of various factions will happen because of player actions, not a directed script.

Along with this comes the expected space exploration and combat, and also land ownership, player governance, and graphic novels. Land owners can build a variety of structures, which allow for mining, production and research. The game taxes land plots to encourage players to use the land rather than sit on it.

Phantom Galaxies will soon bring a new NFT airdrop to their players and supporters. This airdrop consists of Catalyst NFTs that will play a role in upcoming mints.

Players will use Catalysts when minting Starfighters, Avatars, and Planets. All of these NFTs are generative, meaning that they will have some randomized traits when generated. However, players can influence these traits when minting by using a Phantom Catalyst. Phantom Catalysts will be specific to an NFT type — Starship, Avatar, or Planet.

Catalyst NFTs will be sent out to NFT holders based on the following list:

• The Hopeful — Avatar Gender Catalyst
• Zorran’s Favour — Rare Avatar Catalyst
• Planet Founders — Planet Catalyst (additional Rare Planet Catalyst for top Planet tiers)
• Complete Posters (Redeemed + Unredeemed) and Medals set — Rare Planet Catalyst
• AR Progress Tracker — Starfighter Catalyst
• AR Trophy — Rare Starfighter Catalyst

Players will be able to use one Catalyst during each mint process. The Gender Catalyst will let Avatar minters select the Gender. Other Catalysts will apply one specific trait to the newly generated NFT. These Catalysts can be bought, sold, and traded as well, so players can find the exact trait they want for their mints.

Mintpass creation opened earlier this year, with players able to create new passes with Medals, Posters, or ASTRAFER tokens earned during the alpha tests. Mintpasses can also be purchased on secondary markets. The NFTs generated in these mints are genesis/early adopter type items, and they all come with numerous benefits.

Combat in the Dread Arena just got a little more exciting! Now players have a selection of four characters to choose from when entering the Dread Arena. Each character has their own weapons and attack stances, providing a variety of options for players to try.

In addition, using special abilities becomes a bit easier as special abilities will no longer use Stamina and their cooldowns are reduced by 50%! Stamina use for attacking and sprinting has been readjusted to take into account these changes. Returning players may also notice that the enemy waves in the Dread Arena now have a fewer foes. This is true, but they have also been given a slight strength adjustment as well. And they may be a bit smarter as well. So they won’t fall quite as easily as before!

This update also brings a major visual upgrade. Pretty much everything has been updated — environment, lighting, crowd, even a new fog effect, adding an extra spooky feeling to the Dread Arena!

Players now also have some additional options for adjusting sounds and graphics, as well as the using a Playstation controller to play. Future updates planned for the Dread Arena include a leaderboard, co-op mode, and more content.

What is Dread Arena?

Dread Arena is an arena, survival game set in the fantasy world of Uldor. Players must fight for survival against ever growing hordes of undead soldiers from the Dread King. Those who can survive the longest will receive glory, and in the future, potential rewards as well.

The Dread Arena is meant to serve as both a testing ground for tech that will be used in the game, and a way to let players get a preview of a small slice of Uldor, a planned MMO style game. The Dread Arena is set in the world of Uldor.

What is Uldor?

Uldor is a web3-enabled MMORPG in development. The game will be free to play in an open world. It features large-scale PvP battles in faction zones as well as an Arena for more intimate matches. Built in the Unreal engine, Uldor is set in a world ruled by one empire, but broken into three rival factions — known as Zetan, Karg, And Kilan. With the world in turmoil, foes rising from the dead, and ancient beasts returning to plague the lands, players will have plenty of opportunity for glory and excitement!

Players explore the world, fight enemies, complete quests, and embark on epic adventures. Uldor will include crafting as well.

Players who own Guardian or Furie NFTs will have no need to level up in-game, and will also receive access to special quests, adventures and boss fights not available to other players. Both Guardians and Furies are still available for minting on the official website. But any new mints are considered Generation 2, and won’t have as many benefits as older mints.

The MightyNet Terminal opens on April 21st, 12am UTC. Once live, players can link their NFTs to start earning MBITs. There are two types of NFTs currently allowed in the Terminal — Big Bear Syndicate and MightyNet Genesis Pass. Big Bear Syndicate is the first PFP collection from MightyNet. They provide early game access, function as in-game avatars, and offer other benefits as well. The Genesis Pass gives the holder early access to all of their games and early access to the first NFT drops.

The Genesis Passes have a 4x multiplier for staking and currently cost about $130 USD. Big Bear NFTs, on the other hand, are going for under $40, so they provide a cheaper alternative for those who want to get a foot into the MightNet ecosystem.

When owners link their NFTs to the Terminal, they choose a lockup time from 1 to 12 months. The longer the lockup period, the bigger the boost multiplier. All the way up to +400% for those who are willing to sign up for twelve months!

MBIT distribution will begin about a week after the Terminal launch. The staking MBIT rewards will come from a shared pool. Players will also be able to earn these game tokens from leaderboards, tournaments, and community events. MBITs are non-tradable points, used to purchase Supply Crates. Supply Crates contain various items, and they can be traded to other players.

What is Mighty Action Heroes?

Mighty Action Heroes is a free to play, browser-based, third-person, battle royale game on the Ethereum blockchain. It will include both on-chain and off-chain assets. Some cosmetic items and all novice level heroes will be off-chain. Premium Heroes and Equipment, as well as crafting resources and blueprints will be on-chain. Free to play players won’t have access to some game features such as crafting.

The game’s characters are inspired by popular action heroes from around the world. Players can level up their Heroes and equip them with various weapons and abilities.

Players earn rewards based on their final standing at the end of each match. In addition, Mighty Action Heroes will include the standard battle pass style system. In this case it’s called a Season Pass and will offer both a Starter and Premium Tier, with the better rewards reserved for Premium Pass holders.

They also plan to introduce their own ecosystem token called MGHTY.
